Five Dollar Shake weddings...Hayley & Steve

Steve proposed to Hayley on a family holiday to the USA. He had it all planned that they would visit a caricaturist and get a fun picture drawn of them both as a memento of their holiday together, and at the last minute the artist would draw a speech bubble with ‘will you marry me’ written inside.. Well after a couple of attempts Hayley agreed to have her picture drawn and was totally blown away as she really didn’t expect the proposal at all. Poor Mum had been carrying the ring around all week keeping it safe for when the moment finally arrived!

The moment the proposal actually happened.

The two bridesmaids wore sophisticated black dresses.

The wedding cake had beautiful peacock cascading down the side. It matched the table plan which had a hand drawn peacock as decoration.

Five Dollar Shake Weddings supplied all of Hayley’s wedding stationery. The black monochrome theme was carried throughout.

The reception venue was decked out in black and white and looked absolutely gorgeous.

During the wedding breakfast the guests were surprised with singing waiters, they put on a fabulous show.

Confetti fun with one of the flower girls.

The first dance was an impressive affair with the happy couple performing to Dirty Dancing’s ‘I've had the time of my life’

Family and friends danced the night away until the early hours. It was certainly a wedding to remember!
